Ibusa Community Hall Fundraising

The ICDU (UK) has recently begun building a community hall in Ibusa as a platform for a safe location where the neighbourhood can organise gatherings, socialise, and celebrate neighbourhood festivals in a more conducive setting with water and restrooms as opposed to in pitched tents exposed to bad weather and unsanitary conditions.

To make this vision a reality, the UK branch has taken it upon herself to build the community hall. We have acquired a piece of property and have begun building. We need more money, so we’ve started this campaign to raise money by pleading with local and international donors to send gifts that will enable us to complete the building, furnish it, and put in a borehole water system.
